One of our international clients brought us this dilapidated, single storey Victorian house on the slopes of Signal Hill in Tamboerskloof, with the brief of creating a contemporary, African inspired, open plan home.
Part of our heritage preservation was to respect the significance of the Victorian room, this was achieved by setting a timber border into the new screed floors.
